Disability Pride Month

July is Disability Pride Month, and with focusing my final years Masters' project on Disability, I wanted to use this as an opportunity to create colourful characters that represent the different people you could find within this community.

I am disabled myself, with having both mental health conditions and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and I feel I have become more comfortable with this just being a part of my life.

My masters' project is to make a webcomic about being disabled, but I am having a focus on more hidden illness and aspects you may not see in the media.

I hope doing these daily illustrations helps to create more awareness for people in this community, and that we do indeed exist!
